Recess - A week in my Electorate, Tauranga
I am visiting a number of primary schools within the area this week! I will be hearing oral submissions in Rotorua for the MA Select Committe. I am excited to have Hon Jonathan Coleman, Minister for Immigration speaking at a luncheon with Settlement Support, Tauranga on Wednesday 11 August and a Regional Councils meeting. This will be an action packed week.

Hon Anne Tolley, Minister for Education will visit Mt Maunganui College, then I am on the judging panel for the TGC Kaipakihi Ranga Wairua Business competition, then off to Comivta to celebrate the 100th birthday of their founder Claude Stratford.

Greenstone pictures guest for the politics themed TVNZ6 show - the series tackles issues that "tweens" have said are relevant to them. This year everything from the environment and what it really means to be green to the media and understanding how it shapes the world tweens see, is covered.
